Pulmonic stenosis

• Occurs in 12% of all CHD
• Mild stenosis usually asymptomatic
• Moderate stenosis presents with fatigability and exertional dyspnea
• Critical stenosis presents in neonatal period with cyanosis and tachypnea
• SEM @ ULSB, transmits to back, widely split S2, systolic ejection click
• EKG: normal in mild PS; RAD/RVH in moderate and severe PS
• CXR: post stenotic dilatation (prominent MPA); decreased vascular markings with severe PS
• SBE prophylaxis indicated
• Associated with Noonan syndrome
