Pulmonic stenosis
- Occurs in 12% of all CHD
- Mild stenosis usually asymptomatic
- Moderate stenosis presents with fatigability and exertional dyspnea
- Critical stenosis presents in neonatal period with cyanosis and tachypnea
- SEM @ ULSB, transmits to back, widely split S2, systolic ejection click
- EKG: normal in mild PS; RAD/RVH in moderate and severe PS
- CXR: post stenotic dilatation (prominent MPA); decreased vascular markings
with severe PS
- SBE prophylaxis indicated
- Associated with Noonan syndrome
