Limb-Girdle Dystrophy
- a muscular dystrophy
- AR inheritance; both sexes affected equally
- proximal muscle weakness, no facial involvement
- onset late childhood to teens
- vs fascioscapulohumeral syndrome: think 'face and scapula' therefore
facial weakness and arm weakness; vs limb-girdle dystrophy which is proximal
muscle weaknss, but NO facial involvement
