Ladd's bands
- (William Ladd, American physician)
- adhesions running from the caecum
across the duodenum to the parietal
peritoneum in the right
hypochondrum (below ribs) which may obstruct the second part of the
duodenum seen in intestinal malrotation.
- They are surgically divided
