Factor 13 deficiency

Associated with instability of the fibrin clot

• Moderate to severe bleeding from the umbilical stump or after trauma
• Characteristic pattern of DELAYED bleeding
• Purpura, poor wound healing, intracranial bleeds
• Normal routine labs
